ASPECT partners meet in Reading for 2026 General Assembly

Partners from institutions and organisations across Europe came together once again in February 2026 for ASPECT’s annual General Assembly, hosted at the University of Reading, UK.

The three-day meeting (3–5 February) brought together nearly 50 consortium members, providing a valuable opportunity to review progress and align priorities as the project enters its final year.

The sessions focused on updates from across the project’s work packages, highlighting key achievements and ongoing activities. These updates provided a collective view of progress to date, while helping to identify priorities for the coming months.

Across the meeting, participants took part in panel discussions and thematic exchanges designed to strengthen collaboration and alignment across the consortium. Presentations from early career researchers also formed a key part of the agenda, showcasing the emerging work and contributing to knowledge sharing across the project.

Whilst there, the attendees also benefited from valuable guidance from the External Advisory Board, who offered input as ASPECT moves towards delivery of its final outputs.

Bringing partners together in person created space for focused discussion and forward planning. The General Assembly marked an important milestone in consolidating progress and setting direction as we move into the final stages of the project over the next year.
