ECCA 2025 – ASPECT at MIP4Adapt session: “Upscaling climate services: sharing approaches and insights”

Location: Rimini, Italy & online

ASPECT is participating at a session organised by the working group on climate services under the auspices of the Mission Implementation Platform (MIP4Adapt). This takes place on the 17th of June 2025, and explores the current approaches and challenges in upscaling climate services for adaptation in Europe.

A significant gap remains in ensuring that climate services move beyond pilots and reach broad, sustainable implementation and market commercialisation. This session will highlight research and practical experiences in upscaling climate services from various sectors, including public, private, and third-sector perspectives.

Marta Terrado (Barcelona Supercomputing Center), one of the ASPECT project coordinators, co-chairs the session together with Marta Bruno Soares (NORCE).

The speakers include Cristobal Reveco (HEREON), Emma Visman (Save the Children International), Isadora Jimenez (Lobelia Earth) and Melissa Campagno (G.A.C Group).
