S2S2D Conference 2026: Advancing climate predictions from weeks to decades to benefit society

The third international conference on Subseasonal to Seasonal to Decadal Prediction (S2S2D) takes place this year at the University of Reading, UK from the 7-11 September 2026. The conference brings together scientists from around the world, providing a forum for the current state of Earth system prediction science to be shared and discussed. 

ASPECT researchers are participating in several sessions, presenting the project’s work to fellow scientists and experts in the field.
